Man of Parts Presents New Collection in Collaboration with World-Renowned Designers

Canadian design studio Man of Parts has unveiled a new series of interior pieces created in partnership with leading international designers. The collection features contributions from Sebastian Herkner, George Yabu, Glenn Pushelberg, and Philippe Malouin.

The new additions include armchairs, a daybed, a rug, coffee tables, and chairs, each inspired by specific global locations — from Portuguese beaches and Canadian islands to the streets of Rome and Montreal. These places served as references for the designers in developing the shapes, materials, and color palettes of the pieces.

The collection emphasizes natural materials such as leather, textiles, wood, and stone, combined with a calming range of shades including creamy white, sandy beige, soft grey, and deep green.

Staying true to the Man of Parts philosophy, the furniture is relaxed, minimal, and functional, offering a refined yet timeless aesthetic without relying on overly contemporary design cues.

Fluid Lines & Timeless Style: Discover THE BETTY COLLECTION from DAN YEFFET STUDIO

Haymann Editions proudly presents THE BETTY COLLECTION by DAN YEFFET STUDIO, featuring a dining table, coffee table, and namesake console.

This collection pays tribute to fashion icon Betty Catroux, the remarkable muse of Yves Saint Laurent, after whom it is named. The designer drew inspiration from the curves of her iconic silhouette, evoking an illusion of weightless transparency.

Each piece exudes elegance, harmoniously blending timeless forms with contemporary details that infuse interiors with a sense of freshness.

Crafted with metal and lacquered wood bases, the designs command attention through their clean lines and graceful curves.

Where Light Meets Legacy: Kaia in Cartier’s New Tokyo Concept Store

In 2024, Cartier celebrated its 50th anniversary, marking the occasion with the opening of a new concept boutique in Tokyo.

One of our favorite and most striking pendant lights from the Kaia collection has found a home in Cartier’s newly opened Tokyo boutique. The Glow 5 modular ceiling chandelier — composed of five identical oval-shaped lamps made from matte glass with signature coating and brass fittings — perfectly complements the interior, designed by renowned French architect Laura Gonzalez.

The Kaia fixture was installed in the second-floor lounge, a private space reserved for pre-scheduled, personalized visits. It adds the perfect finishing touch to the refined atmosphere of elegant luxury that defines Cartier.

Art Basel Miami

The other-worldly installations are made from cork and were unveiled in November 2023 around Paseo Ponti in the Design District, ahead of Miami Art Week. Having been awarded the 2023 Commission by Miami Design District, in collaboration with Design Miami/Curatorial Lab, Bohinc’s sculptures also greeted visitors at the entrance of the international collectible design fair Design Miami from 5th December 2023.

Utopia is Bohinc Studio’s first public commission in the US and spans four installations featuring irregular, bulbous forms reminiscent of growing cellular organisms and lifeforms. Friendly and dynamic, the sculptures are suggestive of living objects, mushrooming across the district with their kind yet mysterious presence.
The colourful and tactile sculptures include outdoor seaters, tables, and imposing 3 metre tall light sculptures, placed within proximity to create intimate and comforting resting places. A constellation of nine hundred egg-shaped birdhouses will be interspersed among the trees, providing colourful refuge and shade for local wildlife. Echoing the function of the birdhouses, a giant, centrepiece 2 metre tall egg-like piece provides a playful hideout for small children. At night, the solar-powered sculptures come to life, creating an atmospheric luminous glow.

Granville Bridge by Man of Parts

The Man of Parts company introduces the Granville Bridge Dining and Side Chairs, with elegant curves and bent plywood lumbar support that hits just right.

You'll fall in love before the main course is served.

“The name pays homage to the Granville Bridge, the unique 1950s steel truss bridge in Vancouver. Based on the idea of a half-timbered construction and spanned elements, the Granville Bridge chair family for Man of Parts was created. The framework is made of solid wood, which encloses curved and upholstered surfaces and hugs its owner.”

Kaia at Decorex

We’re thrilled to announce that KAIA Lighting participates at the Decorex International design exhibition this October, returning to the event after a five-year hiatus.

At the event, the brand will be bringing innovative technology and sustainable luxury to the forefront, debuting two new collections created in collaboration with Sebastian Hepting and Sophie Dries.

Inspired by the soulful light of a candle flame, specialist lighting designer Sebastian Hepting wanted to combine less of a traditional lamp and more of a functional, directional light source. That's how the CandleLight collection was born. The CandleLight was cleverly designed to create the effect of a classic candle holder hovering weightlessly above the surface and casting a soft, cozying spotlight onto dining tables, nightstands or glistening marble countertops. It combines a soft candlelit glow on top with an invisible spotlight that illuminates magically downwards from underneath with a gesture control function.

The GLOW collection was likewise born from a desire to mimic the harmonious coexistence of organic and geometric forms. Glass is custom-made for Kaia by glassblowers in Bohemia and the layered paper (organic papier-mâché) appears to ‘grow’ and take on a life of its own. In GLOW 3 In Line, harmony manifests in a series of three delicate glass eggs held in linear form by a hand-crafted brass network to create a sleek statement piece.

Welcome to the new KAIA

We are proud to unveil a brand new look of Kaia Lighting. A bolder and more contemporary identity that is not afraid to stand out.
We are also delighted to announce taht we will be returning to Decorex International this year where we will be launching our brand new lighting collections.
